Speakwell Institute Of English Language

Speakwell Institute Of English Language is located at E-295 in Lalkothi. It’s a pretty straightforward place where we help people get better at speaking English. We aren't a big university or anything like that. It’s just a few classrooms and some teachers who actually care about whether the students are learning. A lot of people come to us because they want a better job or they're moving away, and they need to feel more confident when they talk. We spend our days going over grammar, practicing pronunciation, and just having conversations. It can be frustrating for the students sometimes, but we try to keep things relaxed. The building at Lalkothi isn't anything special to look at, but it's where the work happens. We don't use a lot of fancy technology, mostly just whiteboards and books. Sometimes we sit around and just talk about our day in English to practice. It’s a good way to learn without feeling too much pressure. We’ve seen all kinds of people walk through our doors, from young kids to older folks. Everyone has their own reason for being here. We just try to be helpful and give them the tools they need. It’s a small operation, but we like it that way because we get to know everyone who comes in. There’s usually a pot of tea going and someone practicing their vowels in the corner. It is a noisy place, but we like the energy our students bring.
