I spend most of my day here at shop number five in Dausa. It’s a busy spot, mostly because we are right opposite Poonam Cinema. You can usually hear the crowds when a big movie lets out. We’ve been at this serial number 486 location for a good bit now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a working clinic and we keep things clean enough for the patients. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially in the afternoons, but inside we just try to get through the daily list of people coming in for checkups. There’s a small desk where I sit and handle the files. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We have some plastic chairs in the waiting area that have seen better days. Most people who come here are from the neighborhood and they know us by name. It’s just how things go in Dausa. I usually open up early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. By the time the cinema starts its first show, we already have a few people waiting. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door. It’s a practical setup. My family has been around this area for years, so we know the shopkeepers nearby pretty well. It’s a decent place to work. We just do what needs doing every single day and try to keep things moving.
