If you are looking for us, we are over at B 10 in Sudreshan Pura, right near Bais Godam. It’s a bit of an industrial-feeling area with all the warehouses around, but our spot is a bit more quiet. The institute is full of books, papers, and old folders that have been sitting there for years. It smells like old paper and ink inside, which I personally don’t mind. We have these heavy wooden tables where we lay out things to look at. The lighting isn't the best in some of the back corners, so we use desk lamps a lot. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know where everything is kept. If you ask for a specific document, it might take us a minute to find it in the stacks. Sudreshan Pura can be a bit dusty with the trucks going by Bais Godam, but we try to keep the windows shut to protect the records. There is a small courtyard where we sometimes sit for a minute to get some air during the lunch hour. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. If someone wants to know what we do, they usually just come by and talk to us. It is a slow kind of work, very different from the rush of the city outside. We just keep track of things and make sure the files are in order for whoever needs them.
