Our office at Charu Mindworks (India) Pvt. Ltd. is situated in the Sitapura Industrial Area, specifically in the IT-4 building within EPIP RIICO. Jaipur is famous for its history, but out here in Sitapura, it’s all about the industry and tech parks. The building is a big block of concrete and glass that stands out against the dusty landscape. We’ve got a decent amount of space inside, though we’ve managed to fill it up with desks and equipment pretty quickly. The commute can be a bit long for those living in the main city, but the area is much quieter once you get inside the gates. We have a small break area where we keep a microwave and a fridge. The walls are mostly covered in notes and schedules. It’s not the most stylish office, but it’s practical for what we need to do. Being in the RIICO area means we have a lot of other companies nearby, so the cafeteria downstairs gets quite crowded at noon. We’ve got big windows that let in a lot of that bright Rajasthan light, which is nice until it gets too hot in the afternoon. Then we have to pull the blinds and rely on the overhead lights. It’s a steady place to work, and we’ve grown fond of the specific way the sun sets over the industrial skyline every evening. It makes the long day feel worth it.
