Singh'S Granite

Singh'S Granite is located at A-200 and 201 in Hanuman Nagar. If you’re driving down Dashrath Marg near the Hathipura Choraha, you will see us. We are right in the Vaishali Nagar area, which has changed quite a bit over the years. This place is always a bit dusty because of all the stone. Granite is heavy and it takes a lot of effort to move the slabs around without hitting anything. We spend most of our mornings moving pieces and making sure everything is organized. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean. By the end of the day, your clothes are covered in that fine grey powder from the cutting and polishing. The yard is big enough for the trucks to come in, but it gets cramped when a new shipment arrives from the quarries. We usually have a few guys working the cranes and others checking the patterns on the stone. Customers come by and walk through the rows, looking at the different colors. It gets really hot in the middle of the day, especially with the sun reflecting off the polished surfaces. We mostly just focus on the slabs and getting them loaded up correctly. There’s no big fancy showroom here, just the actual work happening right in front of you. It’s loud, it’s physical, and we go home pretty tired every single night.
