Natrajan Stone Company

If you find yourself near the Sikandara Chouhara, you will likely see Natrajan Stone Company. We are situated right on the N. H. 11 Jaipur-Agra Road, very close to the flyover. It is a spot where there is always something going on, with vehicles moving back and forth between the cities. Our focus here is simply on the stones we keep in our yard. We have slabs of all kinds leaning against each other in long rows. The air is often thick with the sound of the highway, but we just go about our business of moving material and talking to the drivers who bring in the loads. It is a bit of an old-fashioned way to work, honestly. We don’t rely on fancy technology or big advertisements to get things done. Mostly, we just rely on the fact that we are right here on a main road where people can see us. We spend our hours measuring, marking, and moving heavy pieces of rock. It takes a lot of strength and some patience when the weather doesn't cooperate. Sometimes it's raining and we have to cover everything up, and other times the heat is almost too much. But we are always here at the Chouhara, doing the same thing every day. It’s a simple life, and we are fine with that. We just want to get the stone out to where it's going, piece by piece, as the trucks roll in and out.
