Sihag Granite

You can find Sihag Granite out at H-92 in the Riico Industrial Area of Shahpura. It is a big open space because granite takes up a lot of room. We spend our days surrounded by huge slabs of stone. It is heavy, loud work. The machines for cutting and polishing are running most of the time. Shahpura gets quite dusty with all the industrial activity around here. We are not fancy people. We wear work boots and get our hands dirty every single day. The yard is full of different colors of stone, and we spend a lot of time moving them around with the crane. It is a tough business because the material is so unforgiving. If you drop something, it is gone. The trucks coming in and out of Riico make a lot of noise, and the gates are always swinging open. We spend a lot of time checking for cracks or flaws in the stone because that is the most important part of the job. We have a small office on the site where we handle the bills, but mostly we are outside or in the shed. We have been at this spot for a good while and know the local market pretty well. We do not have a big sales pitch. We just show people the stone we have. It is straightforward.
