Shyam Traders

You can find us at Indira Bazar 1st Crossing. Shyam Traders is tucked into Kalyan Ji Ka Rasta. It’s a very old part of town. The streets are narrow and always full of people. We’ve been trading here for years. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot of stuff into it. Sometimes I can’t even find where I put the ledger under all these samples. We sell all sorts of things that people in the neighborhood need. It’s not like those big malls where everything is shiny and organized. Here, it’s about knowing your customers by name. We sit on the floor or on small stools most of the day. The tea guy comes by every hour, which is the highlight of the morning. Indira Bazar is always loud with scooters and shouting vendors. You get used to it after a while. Kalyan Ji Ka Rasta has its own rhythm. We open early and stay until the shutters go down late at night. There isn't any fancy strategy here. We just buy goods and sell them. If someone needs something specific, we try to get it for them by the next week. It’s a simple business. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the shop and the people who walk through the door every day. The street outside is usually blocked with carts and people. It makes delivery a bit of a nightmare sometimes, but that's Indira Bazar for you.
