You can find us at 3943, Langar Ke Balaji Ka Rasta, which is right in the middle of the busy Gangori Bazar area in Jaipur. Shri Tecxhem Ltd. has been operating from this old building for many years. The streets outside are very narrow and always filled with rickshaws and people shopping for groceries or clothes. It’s a very traditional part of the city, and our office reflects that. We don't have fancy modern furniture or bright lights. Everything is a bit dim and smells like old paper and the chemicals we deal with. The ceiling fans have been spinning for decades and they make a rhythmic clicking sound that we’ve all grown used to. During the summer, Jaipur gets incredibly hot, so we keep the shutters halfway down to block out the sun. We spend our days checking batches and talking to suppliers on the phone. It’s a lot of manual tracking of inventory in big ledger books. We don't have a website that we update or any of that. Most of our business is done with people we’ve known for a lifetime. We take a long break in the middle of the day when the heat is at its worst and then work late into the evening. It is a slow and steady way of doing things, but it has worked for us for a long time. We just focus on the work and don't worry about being flashy.
