Our place, Harchem Enterprises, is out at VKIA Road No 14, specifically at E-295. If you know the Jaipur industrial areas, you know it can get incredibly dusty and hot out here. The building is a simple structure that serves as both our storage and our small work area. We don’t have air conditioning in the main part, so we mostly rely on the big fans that hum all day long. Most of our time is spent checking containers and making sure the supplies are organized on the metal racks. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving things back and forth and ensuring the labels are correct. We wear sturdy boots because the floor can be a bit uneven in places. There’s a small desk near the entrance where we keep the logbooks, and that’s where most of the administrative stuff happens. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to polish our image; we just do what we do. On some days, the heat is so bad we have to take extra breaks, but we always get the tasks finished eventually. The guys have been here for a long time, so we all know the routine by heart. It’s a steady pace of work without much drama. We prefer the quiet of the industrial outskirts compared to the city center, even if it means a longer commute for some of us every morning. We just keep the gates open for daily deliveries.
