Shri Satya Narayan Provision Store

Our shop, Shri Satya Narayan Provision Store, is located at shop number 17 on the Link Road in Bapu Bazar. It’s just down the way from a few other similar shops, but we all have our own regular customers. We deal in groceries and daily household items. You’ll find big sacks of lentils and grains sitting on the floor, and the shelves are filled with jars of tea and spices. It’s a busy little spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home and remembers they need something for dinner. The Link Road can get very congested, so we’re used to the sound of scooters and people shouting. The shop itself is quite old, and you can see it in the way the walls are built. We don't have any fancy lighting, just a few bulbs that make the place feel warm. My family has been running this store for a long time. We know which brands our customers prefer and we try to keep those in stock. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy bags and counting out change. We don't use any high-tech systems; we just keep an eye on the shelves and reorder when things get low. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, open the doors, and serve whoever comes in. There’s nothing complicated about it, just a honest day's work in a busy market. We like being part of the local community here.
