Shri Ranabai Marbles Supplier is located at E-12 Ajmer Road in Nirman Nagar, right opposite Aasopa Hospital. Our yard is basically just a big open space where we keep stacks of marble and other stones. It’s not a fancy place at all. Most of the time, there’s a layer of white dust over everything, including our clothes and the small office we use. We spend the day showing people the different slabs and explaining how they might look once they're cut. Ajmer Road is very noisy, and the dust from the passing traffic often blows into our yard. We don't have any sales people in suits. It’s just us and a few workers who help with the loading. We use a lot of water to spray down the stones so customers can see the real color and pattern hidden under the dust. It’s a physical job that involves a lot of heavy lifting and careful moving. Being across from Aasopa Hospital, we see people coming and going all day. We start early in the morning when the air is still cool and try to get the heavy work done before noon. Our records are kept in a simple binder, and we don't do any online advertising. People usually find us because they’re driving by or someone told them about our yard in Nirman Nagar. It’s a straightforward business.
