Shri Makrana Marbles

Our shop, Shri Makrana Marbles, is located right by the Hirapura 200 Ft Bypass on Ajmer Road. It’s a massive road with trucks flying by at all hours. Because we are right on the bypass, we get a lot of dust from the traffic, so we spend a decent amount of time just cleaning off the slabs so people can actually see the patterns. We’ve been at this location for a good while. The space is big enough for us to keep a large variety of marble. People call us Shri Makrana because that’s the kind of stone everyone used to ask for, though we have other things now too. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. Usually, one of us is sitting in the small office area while the others are out in the sun moving stone. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. If a piece of marble has a yellow tint or a vein that looks a bit off, we point it out. It’s better that way so there are no surprises later. Most of our customers are builders or guys doing their own home repairs. They know what they’re looking for, so we just let them browse through the stacks. It’s a noisy spot because of the highway, but it makes it easy for the big delivery trucks to pull in and out. We stay busy with the local demand and just try to keep things moving day by day without making it complicated.
