Shri Ghodela Cement Agency

Our agency, Shri Ghodela Cement, is in the New Loha Mandi area. We are specifically located on Road No 14 in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area, which people call VKI. We are right near the State Bank of India branch here in Macheda. It’s a very industrial part of town, so there are always heavy trucks and machines around. We spend our days dealing with cement shipments. The warehouse is a big open space where we stack the bags high. It’s dusty and noisy, but that’s the nature of the industrial area. We have a small office tucked away in the corner where we handle the bills. Most of our customers are from the factories nearby or contractors doing big jobs. We’ve been operating out of this spot for several years. The traffic on Road No 14 can be a nightmare in the afternoons. We try to get our loading done early in the morning to avoid the worst of it. It’s just a regular local business. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing plans. We just sell cement and try to keep our customers happy. Most people find us through word of mouth in the Mandi. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving the bags around, but we are used to it. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that's usually our only break. We just keep going until the work is finished.
