Shri Ganesh Granite

We've been at 254 Tonk Road in Himmat Nagar for a good while now. Shri Ganesh Granite is basically just us working with stone every day. It's heavy work, mostly moving slabs around and talking to people who come by the yard. Tonk Road gets pretty busy, so there is always noise outside while we are sorting through the granite stock. We keep different kinds of slabs here, some are plain and others have more patterns. Usually, someone is here from morning until the evening. If you walk past Himmat Nagar, you’ll see the pieces leaning against the walls. It isn't a fancy setup. We just have the stone laid out so people can see what they are getting. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that's just how it is with this kind of material. My father started things here, and we just kept it going. Most of our days are spent checking the edges or loading trucks for deliveries around the area. It’s a simple business, nothing too complicated. We know the neighbors and the other shops nearby well. People come in asking about prices or looking for a specific color for their kitchen or floors. We show them what we have on hand at the moment. It’s just honest work with granite here. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people seeing the sign when they drive down Tonk Road. We spend a lot of time cleaning the slabs because the dust from the road settles on everything. My brother handles the loading while I talk to the people who stop their cars. It’s a long day, but we prefer being outdoors.
