Shree Shyam Marble & Granites

Shree Shyam Marble & Granites is located on Ajmer Road, right near the Heera Pura School. It’s mostly an open yard where we keep all the big slabs of stone. There is always a layer of white dust over everything because that’s just what happens when you move marble around. We spend our days outside or under the shade of the tin roof, showing different colors and patterns to people who stop by. Some days are very hot, especially when the sun reflects off the stones. We have a small office on the side where we do the billing and keep the records. It’s a lot of heavy lifting with the cranes and the workers moving slabs carefully so they don't crack. We’ve been at this spot on Ajmer Road for a while now, and most people use the school as a way to find us. It’s a straightforward business. People want a certain look for their floors or counters, and we show them what we have in stock at the moment. There’s no fancy showroom here, just the raw stone sitting out in the yard. We like the work because you get to see some really beautiful pieces of rock every day. It’s simple, physical work that keeps us on our feet and moving around until the sun goes down and we lock up the gate.
