Shree Kalyan Sales

The morning starts with the sound of bikes on Kariri Road. I usually get to Shree Kalyan Sales before the dust really kicks up from the main road. Being in Manoharpur Village is different from being in the city because everyone actually stops to say hello. Our place is near the Purana Hall, which is a bit of a landmark for people around here. It’s a basic setup. We have the inventory stacked where it fits, and I try to keep things organized, though it doesn't always stay that way. Some days are slow, especially when it’s hot outside and nobody wants to leave their house. I spend those hours checking the ledgers or just staring out at the road. The village has changed a bit since we started, but the location stays the same. We don’t do much advertising; people just see the sign when they pass by. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Usually, my cousin helps out in the evenings when things get a bit more hectic. We close up once the sun goes down and the traffic on the main road thins out. It’s nothing fancy, just a room with goods and a door that needs a bit of oil on the hinges. Being on this side of the village means we get a good breeze sometimes. That’s enough for us to keep going every day in this spot.
