Our place is G-4 in the Shaktesh Appartment building. We're right by the Kharbuja Mandi on M.D. Road. It’s a lively neighborhood, especially early in the mornings when the market nearby starts waking up. We’ve been operating out of this ground-floor unit for several years. It’s convenient because we don’t have to deal with any elevators or long hallways. The space is filled with inventory, mostly stuff we distribute to other shops around the city. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped because we keep getting new stock in before the old stuff goes out. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most people who come by are regulars who know exactly what they need. There is usually tea brewing in the back if someone stops by to chat. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to move everything out of the way to do it. It’s just an honest place where we work hard. M.D. Road is always congested, so we tell people to come early if they want to avoid the worst of the traffic. We try to keep things simple. No complicated systems or corporate rules here. Just a few of us making sure orders get filled and the books are balanced at the end of the month. It's a modest business but it keeps us going every day.
