This office is where Rajesh Sharma, who is the Deputy Manager for civil works, is based. We are located in the Beawer-Ajmer region of Rajasthan, which is a very important place for the cement industry. The work here is very practical and involves a lot of technical details about construction and materials. It isn't a shiny corporate headquarters with glass walls. It is a functional space where we spend a lot of time looking at site plans and talking to the people actually doing the building. The sun in Rajasthan can be very harsh, and the air is often dusty from all the movement at the nearby sites, but we are used to it. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We just have what we need to get the job done. Most of the staff here have been working in the cement trade for years and they know exactly how things should go. It’s a lot of coordination between different departments and making sure the supplies are ready when they are needed. We stay busy throughout the day, often eating lunch at our desks while we finish up reports. It is the kind of place where people work hard and don't make a big deal out of it. We are just a small part of the bigger operation here in the Ajmer district and we take things one day at a time.
