Shineasy Welfare Foundation

Shineasy Welfare Foundation is based out of Alwar, right in Surya Nagar at C-379. Alwar is a beautiful place with its own history, but our daily life is mostly centered around this one street in Surya Nagar. The foundation has been operating from here for a bit, and the neighbors have gotten used to seeing us coming and going at odd hours. The house where the office is located is pretty standard for this part of Rajasthan. We have a small porch where we sometimes sit when the weather is nice, though mostly we are inside trying to stay organized. There are always stacks of documents and some old furniture that we’ve had since the beginning. We don’t believe in wasting money on expensive office decor when the money could be used for the welfare work we do. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we know where everything is. People from the local Alwar area often drop by if they have questions or need some help with paperwork. We don’t have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. It’s a very informal way of working, but it keeps things moving without too much red tape. Surya Nagar is a quiet enough place for us to focus, and we plan to stay here for the foreseeable future. It’s home for the foundation and for us.
