Sheeba Marble Co.

Sheeba Marble Co. is located over at B 11, near the Hotel Arco Palace. We are right there at 52 and 53 Vivek Nagar on Station Road. Being near the station means it’s always loud outside. You hear the trains and the traffic all day long, but you eventually get used to it after a few weeks. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always something going on outside our doors. We’ve got a bit of a different setup being so close to a hotel and the station, but we make it work for us. The marble we have is stored in a way that makes sense for the space we have, which isn't huge compared to some places. We spend a lot of our time just managing the logistics of getting stone in and out of such a busy area. Station Road is never quiet. Sometimes it’s a real headache to get the delivery trucks parked, but that’s just part of being in this location. We don’t have a big corporate vibe here. It’s more of a place where you can just walk in and see what we’ve got. The walls are a bit scuffed and the floors are always a bit dusty from the stone, but it’s a working business. We focus on what’s in front of us each day. Most of the people who work here have been around for a while, so we know the drill. It’s just a matter of showing up and dealing with the stone slabs until the sun goes down.
