Vikas Granite Exports

Our place is over in the RIICO Industrial Area in Shahpura, specifically at H-159. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s mostly warehouses and factories around us. Vikas Granite Exports has been operating out of this spot for a bit. It’s not the quietest neighborhood, but it works for what we do with the granite. We spend most of our time dealing with the containers and making sure everything is packed right. Granite is tough, but you still have to be careful with it. The yard is usually full of slabs waiting to go somewhere. We have a small crew here. Everyone knows their job. We don’t really do much advertising; people usually find us through word of mouth or because they are also working in the RIICO area. The office is just a small room where we keep the paperwork. It gets a bit messy with all the stone dust coming in from the machines outside. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. Shahpura is a busy place for stone, so there’s always something happening. Sometimes the power goes out or the trucks are late, and we just deal with it. That’s just part of being in this kind of business. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or corporate. We just move the stone and keep the place running as best as we can. Every day is pretty much the same, just keeping track of the granite slabs.
