Sarvotam Italia Marble

Our place is at B-4 on Govind Marg, right in the Raja Park neighborhood. It’s a decent area to be in, and we’ve been set up here for a while. We handle a lot of marble, mostly the Italian variety, which is what people usually ask for when they stop in. The shop isn't anything too special to look at from the outside, but we keep plenty of stone inside for people to look through. It’s a lot of manual work, shifting these heavy pieces so people can see the veins and the colors properly. My hands are usually pretty rough from handling the edges all day. We get all kinds of people coming through the door, some who know exactly what they want and others who are just starting to look for their homes. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. Usually, it's just me or one of the guys working here who will talk to you. We try to keep the place organized, but with marble, there’s always a bit of a mess. It’s just the nature of the trade. If you’re driving down Govind Marg, we’re easy enough to find. We open up early and stay until the evening. We don't do much online; we prefer it when people just come in and see the stone for themselves. It makes things easier for everyone involved.
