Saroj Granites

Saroj Granites is located over at Plot 104 in Maa Hinglaj Nagar. If you are driving down Gandhi Path West in Vaishali Nagar, you will find us there. It’s a busy area these days with a lot of new construction going on. We started this place because we knew people around here needed good stone for their kitchens and stairs. Granite is heavy work. Every morning involves moving slabs around to make sure the ones people want to see are accessible. We spend a lot of time out in the yard. The sun gets hot on the stone in the afternoon, but we stay busy. We have different colors and thicknesses depending on what the slab looks like when it comes off the truck. Sometimes the patterns vary a bit because it’s natural stone, but we just tell folks to look closely before they pick. Our family runs the daily operations. There is no corporate office or anything like that, just a desk and a few chairs where we sit to do the paperwork. The neighbors know us well by now. We see the same faces walking by every day. It’s a straightforward business. We get the granite in, we show it to the customers, and they decide what works for their budget. It is a lot of physical labor, keeping everything clean and making sure nothing chips, but we enjoy the routine of it.
