Santosh Charitable Foundation

We are situated in Behror, specifically in Ward No. 17 of Shyam Nagar. The foundation is run from Santosh Sharma’s place. Behror is a town that sees a lot of traffic because it’s on the way to other big cities, but our street in Shyam Nagar is usually a bit more relaxed. We have been here for some time now, and the local community knows where to find us. It’s a very basic setup. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our files and meet with people who need help. There isn’t any corporate vibe here at all. It feels more like a small family operation. We often have tea with the people who come to visit us. The foundation work takes up most of our day, from the early morning until late evening. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when there’s a lot to do, but we eventually get through the pile of work. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not; we’re just a local group trying to do some good in our ward. Most of the people involved live close by, so we can walk to work. It’s a practical arrangement that works for us. If you walk down the lanes of Shyam Nagar, you’ll eventually find us. It’s just a house like any other, but inside we are busy making sure the foundation stays active and useful for everyone in Behror.
