Down at B-11 Adarsh Nagar on Govind Marg, that is where you will find Santosh Building Material Suppliers. We have been in this spot for a good bit of time. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside. We have stacks of bricks and bags of sand piled up. It is a messy business, to be honest. There is always grit on the floor. We spend our days answering the phone and writing down orders on scraps of paper. Sometimes we lose the pen and have to hunt for it under the desk. We use a small truck to move things around. My brother does most of the driving while I stay at the desk. We get a lot of people from the neighborhood coming in for small jobs. We know most of them by name now. It is a quiet street compared to the main roads but we stay busy enough. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that is the highlight for us. We don't have a computer system or anything like that. We just use a ledger. It works for us. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, so we have to move the cement bags around to keep them dry. It is just part of the job. We are just local guys supplying what the builders need. No big fuss about it at all. We just keep the gate open and work.
