It’s a bit of a landmark for students in this area. We’re a post-graduate college, so we have older students coming in for their higher studies. It’s not a fancy campus with manicured lawns or anything like that. It’s a functional building where people come to get their work done. We spend most of our time in the office dealing with admissions and exam forms. It’s a lot of paperwork, to be honest. Being near a petrol pump means there’s always some noise from the highway. We just ignore it and get on with the lectures. The rooms are basic but they serve the purpose. We don’t have any marketing people writing stuff for us. We just tell people where we are and what we do. The weather out here in Bagru can be pretty harsh, especially in the summer, so we all just try to stay out of the sun. It’s a simple operation. We provide the classes, the students show up, and we try to keep everything running smoothly. It’s just a regular college trying to do right by the people who come here. We have been here for years and the routine stays pretty much the same.
