Sand Stone

Sand Stone is located at 1-Cha-15 in Jawahar Nagar. It’s a place where we handle a lot of stone work and related stuff. The yard has various samples lying around, and the office is right there in the middle of it. It gets a bit dusty, as you can imagine with this kind of work. We’ve been here in Jawahar Nagar for years. The neighborhood is pretty familiar to us, and we know most of the people who live and work around here. My desk is usually covered in dust from the stone samples, and there are catalogs everywhere. We don’t have any fancy marketing people. It’s just us answering the phone and showing people the different types of stone we have available. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the weather makes it hard to move things around, but we get it done. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. Most of our day is spent talking to builders or people fixing up their houses. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and measuring. We like the work though. It’s honest and it keeps us busy. The office is small, but it has everything we need to keep the records straight. If you're looking for us, look for the place with the stone slabs out front. That's usually the easiest way to find us in this part of town. We usually close up early on Saturdays to get some rest. Sometimes the old truck outside makes a racket, but it still runs fine.
