Sahakarita Foundation

Our small office for Sahakarita Foundation is tucked away at 17/775 in the Pink City area of Bhaptamau. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to the local turns and the way the house numbers go. Buddheshwar is the main landmark most people use to find their way toward us. We have been in this neighborhood for a while now and most of the people living on this street know who we are. It’s a regular residential area, so you’ll see kids playing in the street and people drying clothes on their balconies while we work inside. We don’t have a big sign or anything too loud. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on the paperwork and the small projects we have going on. It gets pretty hot in the summer, so we usually start early in the morning to beat the sun. The building isn't brand new, it has its quirks like a door that squeaks and windows that sometimes stick when it rains. But it’s ours and it’s where we get things done. We aren't a big city firm with hundreds of employees. We are just a few neighbors who decided that Sahakarita Foundation needed a home right here in Bhaptamau. It feels right being close to home while we work. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized, even when things get a bit chaotic during the busy season. It’s a quiet life here but we like it.
