Sada Shiv Tiles

We have been here at Plot No. 4 in Adarsh Nagar for a while now. Most people know the spot because it’s so close to the Sanganer railway station. When we first opened Sada Shiv Tiles, the area looked a bit different, but the work stays the same. People come in looking for stuff for their floors or walls, and we just show them what’s in the stacks. It gets dusty sometimes with all the heavy lifting and moving crates around, but that is part of the job. I usually get here early to open up the shutters. You can hear the trains passing by throughout the day. We keep a variety of designs because everyone has different taste, some like plain and some want patterns. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big fancy showroom with AC, just a solid place where you can see the tiles clearly under the light. My brother helps out with the loading when customers bring their trucks. Sometimes we sit outside and have tea when it's quiet. If you are coming from the station side, we are easy to find. We try to keep things organized but with tiles, there is always a bit of grit on the floor. It is just how it is. We deal with locals mostly, people building their first homes or just fixing a bathroom. We show them what we have, tell them the price, and that’s about it.
