Rukmani Lifeline Foundation

Rukmani Lifeline Foundation is situated at P-20 in Bhagwati Nagar C, right off the Niwaru Road in Jhotwara, Jaipur. Jhotwara is a busy part of the city, and our street is no different. We started this foundation to help out with basic health and life needs for people who don't have much. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It's a small place on the ground floor with a few chairs and a desk that has seen better days. We spend most of our time out in the neighborhood rather than sitting behind a computer. People around here know us as the folks they can call when there is a medical emergency or when someone needs help getting to a hospital. We don’t have a lot of money, but we have a lot of local contacts. The mail comes to the Bhagwati Nagar address, but we are often out and about. If the door is locked, it just means we are helping someone nearby. We try to keep things practical. We don't have a lot of rules or long forms to fill out. If someone needs help, we see what we can do and go from there. Jaipur is a fast-moving city, but in our little section of Jhotwara, we try to slow down and listen to what people actually need. It's a simple life, and the work is honest. We’re just glad to be here.
