Rsg Stones

We’ve been here at Rsg Stones on Plot No.B-73, Road No.1 for quite a while now. Being in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area means things are always moving around us, especially being so near Malhotra Nagar. It gets pretty busy on this road with trucks and people. We mostly just focus on the stone work we have right in front of us. Most days start early because the yard needs a lot of organizing before the heat kicks in. There is always dust on our boots by lunchtime. People stop by asking about different slabs or just to see what’s arrived on the latest truck from the quarry. We aren’t much for fancy offices or big talk. We just keep the inventory moving and try to stay organized, even when the monsoon rain makes the yard a bit messy and slick. The sun hits the slabs nicely in the late afternoon. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and moving things with the crane, but that’s the job we chose. If you’re driving down Road No.1, you’ll see our gate easily enough. We’ve known the neighbors around this part of the industrial area for years. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time cleaning the equipment than actually using it to cut stone, but that’s just how it goes. It’s heavy, honest work. We usually have a small tea break around four when the sun dies down a little. We just do what we do every day.
