If you ever find yourself in Madanganj Kishangarh, you will see how much marble is everywhere. Our office is on Mirza Bawari Road in the Shastri Nagar area. It is a very dusty place because of all the stone cutting going on nearby. We have been here in the Ajmer district for a long time. The yard is usually full of slabs and the office is where we handle the billing and the customers. It is a very simple setup. We have a couple of old wooden desks and some chairs that have seen better days. Rajasthan is very hot in the summer so we have the coolers running all day long. The noise from the trucks on Mirza Bawari Road is constant. We spend our time checking the quality of the stones and making sure the orders are ready to go out. It is heavy work and everyone is usually pretty tired by the end of the day. We don't really do much in the way of decoration in the office. It is just a place to do business. Most of our staff lives nearby so they walk or ride their bikes in. We know most of the other marble guys on the street. It is a tight community here in Kishangarh. We just keep our heads down and handle the marble as it comes in and goes out to different cities.
