Ritzy Stones Trading is located at 4667, K.G.B. Ka Rasta in the middle of Johari Bazar. If you know Jaipur, you know how crowded and lively Johari Bazar is. It’s a maze of narrow streets, and our spot is right in the thick of all that energy. We spend our days trading in various stones, dealing with a lot of people walking through the lanes. It’s not the easiest place to bring in big vehicles, so we have to be smart about how we move our stock in and out. The building we are in is old, like most of the structures in this historic part of the city. We don’t have a big sign or a shiny front. Most people find us because they’ve been told where to look by someone else. It’s a lot of talking to regular customers and figuring out what they need for their specific building projects. Sometimes the heat in the narrow lanes is a bit much during the summer, but the atmosphere of the bazar keeps things interesting. We aren’t a big corporate entity with a board of directors. It’s just us doing the trading and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the day. Every morning starts with opening the heavy shutters and seeing who comes down the rasta. It’s a very local way of doing business in a very historic part of town, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
