Rajaram Marbles & Granites Pvt. Ltd.

We've been at G-19 for a while now. The yard gets pretty dusty when we are moving the granite slabs around. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. Rajaram Marbles & Granites Pvt. Ltd. isn't a huge fancy office, just a workspace where we get things done. We spend most of our time checking the edges of the marble and making sure the crates are packed right. Sometimes the crane acts up, but that is part of the job. People come by asking about different shades of white or grey. We just show them what we have in the back. It is heavy work, honestly. Your hands get rough after a few years of handling stone. We keep our coffee mugs on the old wooden desk near the entrance. The address is short, just G-19, but most people know where the gate is once they get close. It is not always quiet here because of the cutting machines and the trucks backing in. We keep track of everything in big ledgers. It feels like a second home to most of us. Some days are slower than others. We like it when the rain washes the dust off the outdoor stacks. It makes the colors pop without us having to do much. We just keep doing what we do every day. Nothing fancy, just stone and hard work.
