You can find us at 17 C in Burmese Colony, which is right near Transport Nagar. Being near the transport hub means there is always a lot of activity and big vehicles moving around. Our yard is filled with all kinds of stones. We have been doing this for years, and our boots are usually covered in a fine layer of stone dust. It’s a heavy industry, and you can feel that when you walk around. We have stacks of slabs that we move around using the equipment we have on site. It isn’t a quiet place. There is the sound of stones clinking and engines running most of the day. The sun can get pretty intense here, so we spend a lot of time in the shade of the office when we aren’t out in the yard. We have some samples laid out, but most of what we have is just stored in big rows. It’s a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around. We know the other business owners nearby; we all deal with the same traffic and the same weather. We don’t spend much time on fancy presentations. People come here because they know we have a lot of variety sitting in the back. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the week, we are all pretty worn out. But we come back on Monday and start it all over again. That is just how life is here.
