Rathore Marbles

If you drive down Sirsi Road towards Panchyawala, you’ll find us sitting right near Dayia Property. We have a lot of stone slabs stacked up out front. It's a bit of a dusty business, honestly. We spend our days moving heavy pieces around and talking to people about what they need for their floors or walls. The yard is big enough for the trucks to come in and unload. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small cabin where we keep the books and take a break from the sun. It gets really hot in the summer out here. Sometimes the machines are loud when we're cutting or polishing something. We've been in this spot for a while now, and most people in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s just us working here, making sure the pieces are cut right. We don't use any big advertisements. People usually just see the marble from the road and pull over to take a look. We have different kinds of stone, some from nearby and some from further away. It’s heavy work, and our hands are always a bit rough from the grit. But it’s what we do. We start early before the sun gets too high and stay until the last load is moved. There’s always something to organize or a slab that needs moving to clear space for more. It is hard on the back, but it is a living.
