Ram Manohar Associates

Ram Manohar Associates is based out of Murlipra Village, which is just off the main Sikar Road in Jaipur. Our address is K 18, and it is a place we have known for a long time now. This isn't one of those high-rise offices you see in the center of the city with the glass walls. We are on a street where you might see a cow wandering by or children playing while we are trying to get our daily work done. There are a few of us here, mostly just doing our thing with drawings and papers spread out across the tables. We do not have much in the way of decoration, maybe just a few old photos on the walls and a clock that ticks a bit too loudly when it is quiet in the afternoon. Jaipur is a beautiful city, but it is getting so crowded that being out here in the village area is actually quite nice for us. The air feels a little bit better, and we know all the shopkeepers nearby. When someone comes to visit us, we usually just pull up a spare chair and offer them some water or a cup of tea. We do not have a big sign outside, just a small one that you might miss if you are not looking carefully. Most of our work comes from people who heard about us through a neighbor or a friend. It is a slow and steady way of doing things and we just keep at it.
