Our office is over at K-14 Ashok Marg in C-scheme. It’s a central part of the city, so it’s easy for people to find us. Rajshree Marbles has been around for a good while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We handle a lot of the paperwork and coordination from this location. The stone business involves a lot of back-and-forth between the quarries and the final destination. Most days involve looking at samples and talking to contractors who are working on projects nearby or further out. It’s not always quiet here, especially when the phones are ringing and we’re trying to track a delivery truck that’s stuck in traffic. C-scheme is a busy area, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we make it work. We have small samples of marble and granite tucked into corners so people can get an idea of the colors. It’s mostly just us sitting at desks, checking lists, and making sure the orders are correct. Stone isn’t like other things you buy; every piece is slightly different, which makes the job interesting but also a bit tricky. We don’t go for anything flashy in the office. It’s a practical space where we get the work done. Sometimes we stay late when a big project is finishing up. It’s just how the stone trade is, lots of moving parts to keep track of every day.
