Our office is at number 36 on Station Road. Being near the station means there is always a lot of movement outside. You can hear the trains and the people rushing by all day long. It’s a busy atmosphere which keeps us on our toes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down orders. The building is older, but it serves our purpose well enough. We have a lot of crates and boxes moving in and out through the front door. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible on hand. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just calendars and some old shelves. Most of our work is about getting products from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the traffic on Station Road makes it hard for the trucks to park, so we have to move fast. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and shifting things around. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long afternoons. It’s a simple life. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and see what the day brings. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years because they know exactly where we are located. It is a very plain and functional place for trading.
