About Radhika Natural Stone – Building & Construction Material in Jaipur
Working out of H-1-292 in the Sarna Dungar Industrial Area means we are surrounded by a lot of heavy work. This part of the industrial zone is always loud with the sound of machines and trucks. We spend our days surrounded by blocks of stone and the dust that comes with it. It’s not the kind of place where you wear nice clothes. Most of us have boots that are permanently gray from the stone slurry. The sun hits the industrial area hard, and the sheds get pretty warm by midday. We keep our inventory of natural stone stacked in rows, trying to keep some kind of order even when new loads arrive. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving pieces around and checking for cracks or colors. Sarna Dungar isn't exactly a garden spot, but it’s where the work gets done. We’ve been at this plot for a while now, and we know the neighbors who do similar work. Sometimes we share tools or help each other out with a heavy lift. We don't spend much time in the office; it's mostly just for keeping the ledgers and taking phone calls. Most of the real action happens outside on the gravel. It’s a basic operation, focused on getting the stone ready and loaded onto the trailers that come through the gates. Some of the stones are really heavy and need the crane, while others we can move by hand. It is just hard work in the heat.
