Rachana Stones

This is our location at G-130 V. K. I. Extension in Badarana. Being in the V. K. I. Extension means we are surrounded by a lot of other industrial workshops and warehouses. It is a noisy part of town, but that is just how Badarana is. We have a decent amount of space here for Rachana Stones. We mostly focus on getting the stone ready for whatever comes next. There is a lot of water used in the cutting and polishing, so the floor is often wet. You have to wear good boots. We have stacks of slabs leaning against the walls. Some have been there for a week, some for a month. We try to keep things moving. The trucks have a bit of a hard time backing into the extension sometimes because the roads are narrow and crowded with other deliveries. We spend our mornings checking the arrivals. The guys drink tea together before the heavy work starts. It is a routine we have had for a long time. There is no corporate office feel here. It is just a workspace with a lot of dust and the smell of wet stone. We know the neighbors and we all help each other out if a crane breaks or someone needs a hand. It is just regular people doing regular work at G-130. We do not make it more complicated than it needs to be. It is just about getting the stones sorted and loaded.
