Indira Bazar is always crowded, so finding S 17 isn't always the easiest thing if you are new to the area. R R Sharma Associates is tucked in among a lot of other shops and offices. It gets loud outside with the shoppers and the bikes honking, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of the fans humming. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, people find us because they were told where to look. The office has been here a long time and we haven't changed much of the furniture since the start. There are stacks of files and a few computers that have seen better days. We spend most of the day answering calls or looking over documents. It’s the kind of work that takes time and patience, which is fine by us. My desk is right near the front so I see everyone who walks past. You get to know the regular faces after a few years. Sometimes we order lunch from the place around the corner and eat while we work. It’s a simple life here in the bazar. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide what's needed and try to keep things organized in a place that’s often chaotic. It’s a small space but it fits us just right. No one here wears a tie unless they really have to. We just do the job and go home when it’s finished.
