Dr. R P S Chauhan is the one running things here at 186 Brahmpuri. We are tucked away in Shyam Colony, which is part of Laxmi Nagar. Finding us can be a bit tricky if you aren't from around here. You have to go into Gali No 5, right behind the place they call Mongori Walon Ki Bagichi. It’s a quiet residential lane for the most part. The clinic is small and is basically part of the building. We see a lot of neighbors from the colony. Most people just walk over when they feel sick. We have a small waiting area, but it fills up fast in the rainy season when everyone seems to catch a cold. We don't have a big staff, just the doctor and someone to help out with the door and the papers. It’s a very local vibe here. We know who lives in which house. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if someone comes in with an emergency. The street outside is narrow, so it’s better not to bring a big car if you can help it. We keep things very basic. No fancy decorations or anything. Just a desk, some chairs, and the medical supplies we need for the day. It has been this way for years and we don't plan on changing much. It’s just how we do things in Laxmi Nagar.
