If you ever go down Tonk Road in Durgapura, you might see us. We are at number 72. It’s usually pretty loud around here, mostly because we have to test the speakers and the mixers quite often. R K D J Sound isn't a quiet place to work, that’s for sure. We spend a lot of our time loading big boxes into the back of trucks. Those speakers are heavier than they look. Sometimes we’re out late at events and other times we’re just here cleaning the cables. It’s a lot of tangles. We have a couple of guys who are really good at fixing the wires when they snap. The shop floor is always covered in some kind of equipment. You have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a subwoofer. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. It gets dusty on Tonk Road, so we’re always wiping down the consoles. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. It’s more of a workspace where things get done. When someone comes in looking for a setup for a wedding or a small party, we just show them what’s available in the back. It’s honest work. We like the noise and the music. It keeps the day moving fast. By the time we shut the shutters, we’re usually pretty tired, but it’s a good kind of tired.
