Punit & Co.

Punit & Co. is our small business over in Shahpura. We are located right near the Anaj Mandi, so the whole area is always full of grain trucks and farmers. It is a very active part of town. You can smell the earth and the dried crops in the air most days. Our building is a simple structure made of brick and tin. We have been working out of here for years. It is not the most comfortable place, especially when it is hot outside, but it works for what we do. Inside, it is mostly storage and a small area where we do our paperwork. The desk is old and covered in folders. We do not use much fancy equipment. Mostly just scales and basic tools for handling the goods. My days are spent talking to people from the Mandi and making sure our deliveries are on time. There is a lot of manual labor involved, moving sacks around and loading vehicles. My clothes usually end up a bit dirty by the end of the shift. We do not have a big marketing department or anything. We just talk to our neighbors and the people we have known for years. Shahpura is a hardworking place and we fit right in with that. It is just a matter of showing up and doing the tasks that need doing. We take our tea together in the afternoon when it is quiet.
