Proactive Marketing & Finance

We've been here at Johari Bazar for quite some time now. Our office is at 1472, right in the thick of things where all the jewelry and cloth shops are. Proactive Marketing & Finance isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It's just a small office where we handle paperwork and talk to people about their money and how to promote what they sell. Most days it's just us sitting with some files and a calculator. The traffic outside is always loud, and you can hear the rickshaws honking all day long. We started this because there was a need for someone local to help out with the financial bits that shopkeepers here don't have time for. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break, but mostly we are looking through numbers or calling up people. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the area well. If you are walking down Johri Bazar, you'll probably see the sign. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking, but we like it here. We've seen the market change over the years. Some shops closed, others opened, but we stayed at 1472. It’s a practical spot for what we do. Nothing flashy, just regular work every day from morning until the market shuts down in the evening. We deal with whatever comes our way and keep things moving as best as we can.
