Prateeksha Welfare Foundation

We are located right next to the bus stand in Mandha Bheem Singh. You can find our little office at Suraj Mal Kumawat’s place. Being so close to the bus stand means there is a constant stream of people coming and going, which we actually enjoy. Prateeksha Welfare Foundation is not a big, polished organization with a lot of money. It is just a few of us trying to help the local community here in this part of Jaipur. We spend our days dealing with whatever issues walk through the door. Sometimes it is someone looking for a bit of advice on a family matter, and other times it is just a person who needs some support during a hard time. We do not have a fancy setup at all. It is very basic, with just a few old chairs, a wooden table, and a lot of patience. The buses can be very loud and the dust from the road seems to get into everything, but it is a great spot because almost everyone in town passes by here eventually. We are not trying to be famous or influential. We just saw that things could be a bit better for the people around here and decided to try and help. Our team is made up of locals who know the streets and the families well. We do not use complicated words or have a lot of rules. If someone is in trouble and we can help, we do it.
