Posho Publication Foundation

Our office is located at 16-B in Gangotri Nagar, which is right by the Gopal Pura Bypass in Jaipur. It is a decent enough place to work, even if the traffic on the bypass gets incredibly loud during the evening rush hour. We named ourselves Posho Publication Foundation because we have always had a deep interest in books and getting information out to the public. We are not a massive publishing house with those giant printing presses you see in movies. Most of the time, it is just a couple of rooms where we sit and read through manuscripts or talk about new things we want to print. We have books stacked up in almost every corner, and the shelves are starting to look like they might give way under all the weight. It can be a real squeeze when more than two people visit us at the same time. Jaipur has a long history with writers and stories, so we wanted to contribute something small to that tradition. We do not have a big staff at all. Usually, it is just one or two of us answering the phone or typing away at emails. The office gets dusty very fast because the road is so close, so we are always cleaning the windows. We are not trying to become famous or run the biggest company in town. We just enjoy the work and want to help people get their ideas onto paper. It is a simple life for us here.
