Porwal Clinic And Medical Centre is located at 173 Brahampuri Road, right across from the entrance to Pondrik Park. It’s a busy spot in the Gangori Bazar area. We have been running this place for quite some time now. It’s a combined clinic and medical shop, so we see people for consultations and also help them with their medicines. The bazar is always full of life, so there’s a lot of noise and activity just outside our door. We have a simple setup with a counter for the medical supplies and a small area in the back for the clinic. It’s not a large space, so we have to stay very organized with all the boxes and files. The park across the road gives us a nice bit of green to look at when we have a spare moment. Most of our patients are people from the surrounding Brahampuri neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. We know their names and their regular prescriptions. It’s a very personal way of working. We don't have any corporate branding or fancy logos, just a sign outside that says who we are. The building is an old one, which gives it a bit of character, even if the walls are a bit uneven. We start our day early and stay open until the bazar starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s just our daily routine here at the clinic, helping out the local people as best as we can.
